What if John Cena won in Wrestlemania 28?

"Voices in the air... I hear them loud and clear... telling me to listen..."

Familiar song? It's playing in your mind while seeing the picture right? If we lived the same generation, it's our childhood. Man! Wrestlemania 28 is truly a thrilling event. From the beginning where Sheamus squashed Daniel Bryan, The "End of an Era" happened inside Hell in a Cell, CM Punk and Chris Jericho on a stellar WWE Championship and most of all the "Once in a Lifetime" match that happened twice.

We all know that John Cena lost that match with The Rock, as a kid it broke me because Cena was my hero back then, I have his shirt and I always watch his matches even before and I used to throw my hat to my pets as I ran away like what Cena does in his entrance.

The Rock's win here really defines that He still got what it takes to be a WWE Superstar even though he has a long drought of in-ring competition due to his Hollywood career. Rock came back in Wrestlemania 27 to host it and in later on had a beef with Cena. He also interfere in the final moments of that event to make The Miz win the title.

Today, let's get over the possibilities of which if John Cena have won their first match with The Rock, we'll also visualize on how different the history is if it really set to be a "Once in a lifetime" match.

First off, The Rock came back and broke the internet when he's rumored to host Wrestlemania 27, a star-studded night because many of the superstars came there alongside Stone Cold whose take part in the Michael Cole vs Jerry Lawler matchup. This is the start of the feud of both Cena and Rock as they collide in the final parts of Wrestlemania 27.

After weeks of trash talking, they've accepted to compete and headline next year's Wrestlemania. A year of buildup made their rivalry exciting and a must-see match. Whatever may happen, they already have proven themselves in the ring and in Hollywood even just in this particular era.

There goes the match and they faced each other and the crowd is in absolute pop as they've all been waiting for this to happen, cheers for both The Rock and John Cena applauded the entire arena in Miami,Florida. They went on a 30-minute main event and no one is giving an inch, they both stand still toe-to-toe but this time unlike what really happened, Cena wins and continue his dominance on being the face of the WWE that era.

If there will be no John Cena and The Rock part 2 in Wrestlemania 29, this in my opinion will be the outcome for the following storylines up until Wrestlemania 29:

  • Instead of John Cena, Brock Lesnar vs The Rock will happen and they'll gonna destroy each other throughout the year 2012.
  • The Rock will be back to Hollywood but will remain active in the main roster mostly in Smack Down that year to promote some of his movies.
  • If not on a match, he will just host PPV such as Summerslam and lay the boots to asses if he do have a match.
  • He will state on a promo that in order to cement his title as "The Great One" there should be no greater competitor than him. As he's saying, he should break The Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania 29.

In John Cena's part, he'll have a celebration on the upcoming episode of Raw. He'll shake The Rock's hand and tell that "Hell froze over" and it's a passing of torch on being the top-guy of the company. But after that, Cena would've turned heel and aim for the WWE Championship

  • Cena will have an endless feud with CM Punk throughout the year and exchanging title matches.
  • He will beat CM Punk in the Royal Rumble 2013 instead of The Rock doing it.
  • We all want to see a John Cena vs Randy Orton main eventing Wrestlemania right? So here we go because Randy Orton will win that year's Rumble instead of Cena because he is already the WWE Champion.
  • There will be a Money in the Bank ladder match in Wrestlemania 29 and CM Punk will win the briefcase.
  • Wrestlemania 29 will end as a banger of an event and Cena was standing still the WWE Champion... But you will hear "Cult of Personality" playing and of course, the crowd will go nuts as CM Punk is cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to John Cena and will make it the heist of the century before his future rival Seth Rollins will do it the following years.

Well, it's a win for everyone, we want to see John Cena to be a heel back in 2012, we want to see CM Punk main eventing Wrestlemania before this year and most of all, it will fulfill our dream match of having a John Cena vs Randy Orton on a Wrestlemania main event.

Well guys, that's about it, it will be a really different path if Cena could've won their first match right? Let me know in the comments if you agree that The Rock and Undertaker match at Wrestlemania should've happened. For me it's a good one, Undertaker's appearance in Wrestlemania 40 and squashed The Rock will mean a lot if that could've happened. So long guys and kindly share this to some wrestling fans so that they may join our discussion on what ifs. Catch you later guys and feel free to read more of our contents. Thanks
